Ulan - ulan Falls, located at Brgy Sampao Almeria is approximately 90 feet high, a 10-minute hike from Recoletos Falls. The catch basin is shallow which is good for anyone to take a dip. It has majestic water falls and distinctive charm. The water is flowing slowly in thick vegetation, you have to get close to feel the water's rage.

Acaban Bat Cave is one of the interesting place that can be explored aside from the waterfalls. It is located at Brgy Acaban, Culaba, Biliran about 30 minute drive from Naval, Biliran’s Capital. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery and crystal waters of the Cave. The mouth of the Cave is wide enough to let the people enter. According to our tourist guide Mr. Marlon , the Cave is not natural but man made. He said that treasure hunter once blasted the cave believing that they can find a treasure in the area.

Aside from being a natural habitat for bats, the cave also served as a perfect diving and spear-fishing site. Local folks believe that the cave’s rectangular opening was created by the Japanese in World War II.

Higatangan Island Rock Formation and Hagdan Beach Resort... Higatangan Island is a part of Naval Municipality that is separated by a narrow channel located in the north west tip of Leyte. The name Higatangan is derived from the word “atangan” meaning to wait for. Old folks say that the place was where the pirates ambush approaching ships laden with goods and also the place where the Moros lay in wait for their enemies going to Sumbul (Naval). The island has several white beaches and blessed with exotic rock formations.

The unnaturally beautiful rock formations along the south coast were said to be home to supernatural beings. There were cases that a sudden big wave or a gush of wind rock the boat when passengers were being noisy
