At the end of a 15-minute hike along the banks of Ungale River in Brgy. Ungale, Kawayan, Biliran, stands the wonderful sight of the Busay Falls. The falls is located just above the mouth of the Ungale River, where the stream drops over a stretch of mossy bedrock.
Surrounded by mountains and thick greenery, the waterfall is slightly obscured from view from most angles and can only be visually appreciated from a nearly straight-on angle. Its fresh water is the source of potable water for most households located in Brgy. Ungale. How to Get There in Busai Falls
From the capital town of Naval, waterfall chasers will have to travel the Biliran Circumferential Road via bus bound for Tucdao, Kawayan. From the main road of Tucdao, they may hire or rent motorcycles for a fee of Php 25. Visitors may also ask the locals to guide them to the falls.
